Irvin Foster: Crossroads
Crossroads is the junction of Irvin's life where he chooses to develop his own personal style and bring it to the world so they can hear an interesting style of music. The music on this CD is the reflection of the influences and experiences that have touched in his life.Music has always been an integral part of Irvin Foster's life. He began playing trumpet and piano as a small child in Baton Rouge Louisiana. As a youngster, he began the active pursuit of a music career by playing in jazz, concert, and marching bands. His accomplishments also include orchestra performances and the directorship of church choirs. As a young adult, Irvin continued his involvement with secular and Chritian music, eventually continuing his studies at Aquinas College, Southern University, and Grand Vallley State University. Irvin Foster continues to make contributions to the music industry as one-half of The Hemsley Foster Project. In 1992, along with partner Mario Hemsley, he debuted with the Hemsley Foster Project-Believer, and currently he is finsihing his third CD with the Hemsley Foster Project, entitled Street Dance.
Favorite Styles of Music: Jazz, Gospel, R&B, Spoken Word.

Exceedingly melodic. Easy on the ears, I pleaser anytime of day or season, but especially peaceful music for a rainy day.
