notes
"permanent transient" is the first studio release from Iris Leu, an EP. Songs address the taboos of human nature, each wrapped in delicate vocals and long-legged melodies. Like chocolate-covered spiders. (how doooo those taste…?)
For those who heart the folk-acoustic songwriter persuasion, and those who enjoy analyzing a modern musician.

author: kathy kirkpatrickI heard Blumenthol on WVIA-FM radio here in PA, and immediately looked for the CD. Don't know about long-legged melodies and chocolate-covered spiders, but I think the songs are very beautiful indeed.

author: HelloKittymeowmeowmeowI first became acquainted with Iris Leu through an email from a Asian Society I belong to . It announced that she would be performing at the University of New Orleans, my hometown. "Yeah, yeah, whatever", I thought. I see lots... no, tons of bands and artists, especially living in the heart of the French Quarter. There was a link to Iris' music, so... I thought I would click on it. Before I could change my mind, my life (my music life, that is) was changed forever! Nothing like her anywhere, I said to myself. I had to go to the concert. I did. It was wonderful! As was she! Now, I'm a die-hard fan (something I seldom say). You will be, too.
