notes
For his second record, Tom has tapped again into the deep reserves of Berkshire region musical talent, including producer Todd Mack. The result: 10 new original tunes in the bluesy-folk, americana-rock vein, packaged as "Crunch."
The songs on "Crunch" date from 2003 back to as early as 1990--12 years of tunes about relationships, travel, work and play.
The leadoff track, "Rollin'" was featured on NPR's CarTalk twice during the spring of 2005!
After six years of rehearsing and refining a sophomore effort, Tom threw out all his demo tapes and stepped into the Off The Beat-n-Track Studios in Southfield, MA. Mack listened to the acoustic versions and quickly visualized more of a rock 'n roll album. From there, the project named itself.
Tom lives in Sheffield, MA with his wife Susan, kids Gretchen & Campbell, and keeps a guitar in every room of the house, just in case.

Crush on Crunch
author: Jimmy TI cannot get tired of this music. Great bluesy-folksy sound. With this effor, Crunch, Tom doesn't pound a chorus into your brain.. most of his songs are like a walk down the road, with a subtle reminder of where you came from at the end... When I listen to this music, I get a 'feeling' of James Taylor and Sheryl Crow. But, I think I'll be pulling this and Breakfast of the rack more often. I strongly recommend you sprinkle some Crunch and Breakfast into your playlists. You will find yourself tappin' and noddin' when the songs scramble their way to the front. JT

Nice folksy- blues sound
author: Eric PerryThis CD has a great sound from start to finish . A bit of a James Taylor sound with a lot of great guitar rifs along the way. The track:Rollin' really gets this album kicked off with a lot of flair. "Free to me" kicks it up yet another notch with some nice guitar work. Very good songwriting along with great music from start to finish. Excellent CD
Great All-Americana Songs
author: Rick IngersollI enjoyed listening to Tom Ingersolls "Crunch" CD. It reminds me of the best of Americana style - upbeat, swinging and down-to-earth music, a kind of folk missing from most radio stations. {And this great review is not just because he is my cousin.} Buy & Enjoy!
well done, enjoyed it !
author: Gary Dei Dolori (Url)particularly liked "Rollin'" and "Free to be me", and "#3 Man Blues" was a nice change. 2:13 cracked me up !
Excellent. A lot ot fun.
author: andrewIngersoll's a fine songwriter. Add Todd Mack's production skills and you've got a great listen. A stellar CD!
All original music, fun, poignant, mellow and rocky. Enjoy!!
author: LaurI love this CD. The lyrics are sometimes fun, sometimes poignant, or both. I feel very at home with this music. All songs are original. Listen to “A Woman for My Love” for a sampling of the gentleness of Tom Ingersoll’s music, or listen to “You Don’t Know Nuthin’” to hear one of his crunchier, rockier tunes. Get this CD, sit back, and enjoy!
