I composed this CD after spending some time at McMurdo Base in Antarctica where I was diving under the ice with a group scientists who invited me there. I recorded nearly everything I could while travelling around Ross Island environs.
When I returned home I started integrating these sounds with the musical impressions . It took me several years to complete the project .
This CD has been reviewed in the Lonely Planet's book on Antarctica and has sold nearly 35,000 cd since it was released .It has been a favourite on expedition ships travelling to Antarctica and has been sold at several of the bases in Antarctica. I think it is the best of my instrumental CDs.
