THE BAND
Our band consists of Thomas Callahan, Sheila Stratton-Peel and Tim Daly.
Tom is a guitarist, vocalist/soloist and arranger as well as a songwriter/composer. He also plays many other instruments including mandolin, banjo, keyboards and whistles and the bouzouki. He has been in many other bands in his musical career but has now come home to his heritage of Celtic music.
Sheila is a vocalist/soloist, arranger, percussionist and guitar player. She performs with a hand held drum called a Bodhran. The drum is a single head that is played with a tipper or beater. For the last 5 years Sheila has played with many Celtic bands in the Western New York area. Tom and Sheila perform haunting harmonies.
Tim is a storyteller or Seanache. He brings stories of Ireland and Scotland to many a crowd. A member of the genre for many years Tim is an expert at storytelling and brings a unique quality to IAD FEIN.

This album has one of the best songs about the flooding of New Orleans, really intense stuff. How Will I Ever Be SImple Again is also a standout, and the Famine Song gives me goosebumps.
Great work by all involved, have seen other reviews on this CD
author: Robbie from BuffaloGreat work by a band from the Buffalo, NY area. Great local musicians with the love for the music. Original compositions are great as well as the female voice, Sheila, has great talent and a winner of awards for this CD. Tom the male vocalist has a great voice and his original writing is absolutely wonderful. Tim, seanache, has the gift of the Irish for sure. Great traditional selections and new ........ Extraordinary job.........

The male voice is stupendous and his writing is superb. Do not care for female singer; brings down quality of work. Original and traditional songs are excellent.
