The new release, Audio from Last Night's Dream (Union State Records), combines music from Hypnogaja's past, present and future by including popular tracks from the albums Below Sunset, Acoustic Sunset: Live at the Longhouse, Kill Switch and Post-Hypnotic Stress Disorder with brand new songs ("Perfect Existence," a preview from the band's forthcoming new studio album, Truth Decay, due in 2008) and previously unreleased material ("Open Ending," from the Below Sunset sessions).
Transcending its origins as an electronic music group based out of Los Angeles, CA, Hypnogaja has evolved with each album, transforming into a full-fledged touring rock band that's performed hundreds of shows across North America (opening for major label artists such as Saliva, Shinedown, Cold, Godhead, 311 and others along the way).
Since its inception, one thing that hasn't changed for Hypnogaja is the band's embrace of technology - something that's allowed the group to thrive artistically and commercially in the ever-changing music industry.
