notes
My first idea was to compile one disc of the best songs from the seven volumes of "A Holiday Feast." Bad idea. It's impossible. Narrowing the songs down to two discs was nearly impossible., but it was accomplished, albeit was some angst and the help of a few others. Unfortunately, I had to leave off many deserving songs because of time constraints and sequencing issues. My hope is that everyone will be happy with the results. The songs here are a partial example of the wealth of musical talent that exists in the DC area. Partial, because their are several genres not represented. On Creme de la Creme, however, you will find some roots rock, rock, rockabilly, country, folk, blues, gospel, zydeco, cajun, and a cappella to get you through the holiday season. Enjoy!

October 2003
March 2004 will be the tenth anniversary of Hungry for Music (HFM). In almost ten years I've produced 19 CD releases, including eight "A Holiday Feast," to support and promote HFM's programs. This would not have been possible without the help of hundreds of musicians, recording engineers, graphic artists, club owners, music executives, critics, and fans. HFM has survived because of the kindness and charity of these individuals Space does not allow for me to attempt to list everyone, besides, I would feel terrible if I forgot someone.
So, I'd like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported HFM over the years. We all did this together. I look forward to an even brighter future for HFM..
