We play music for contra dances. It's driving, exciting, and makes you wanna move. Thing is, people who don't know what contra dancing is like it too. It's based on traditional fiddle tunes, but also new and exciting. It's a living, breathing tradition with acoustic instruments -- fiddle, guitar, mandolin, piano, and even some foot percussion thrown in. Dance, or just sit and listen, but you may have a hard time sitting still!
We are: Jonathan Thielen, fiddle, Owen Morrison, guitar, mandolin, and feet, and Shawn Brenneman, piano.
