Hoot Gibson grew up in Columbus, Indiana.
To further his music career he moved from Indiana to Monterey, California in 1986 then in 1988 moved to Nashville, Tennessee.
He started playing at the famous Broken Spoke in 1991 with artists like Darryl Singletary until 1994 when he started playing with The "Jukebox Junkie" himself, Ken Mellons.
You can still find him occasionally touring out with Ken.
You can also catch him playing at The Opryland Hotel on Monday and Wednesday nights from 8-1 at The Jack Daniels Saloon.
If you're in the downtown area of Nashville, you can find him playing in The Stage on Broadway, Legends or The Second Fiddle where CD's are also available.
