notes
Honey For Christ are a Northern Ireland based pure heavy metal band formed through obsession with metal music and all that it stands for. The band refuse to hold back on musical influences and only play what they want to hear. Emotionally charged with passion and energy this latest EP brings 5 tracks of the darkest music the band has written.
The Darkest Pinnacle of Light was recorded in Cottage Studios in Northern Ireland, produced, recorded and mixed by the band themselves to ensure proper representation of the music and finally mastered at studioFeRoX.
Honey For Christ were formed in November 1998 by 5 friends with a passion for music. All categories of metal were forgotten and it was agreed that no member would hold back any influence, and this created the sound of Honey for Christ.
From March 1999 to 2002 the band released 3 successful demos; April of 1999 the debut “Long Way Down & Rising” was
recorded on 4 track. The demo was heavily distributed and achieved very good press in both fanzines and magazines The
events of 2000 led to the creation of a self financed EP, entitled “The Art of Self Abuse & Soul Erosion,” In June 2002 the band were taken into a professional studio to capture the power and intensity that the music deserves; the outcome was “Forging Iron Will.” Again critically acclaimed by fanzines and the mainstream, the disc was a great success, and was featured as album of the month by metalUK.
2005 saw HFC with a new line up, Andy taking on the additional role of vocals due to Jasons’ departure earlier in the year. Undeterred the trio self financed and self produced 5 of the darkest tracks to date. This evolution created “The Darkest Pinnacle of Light.”
This is Honey For Christ - 100% raw, unclean, uncut hard & honest heavy fucking metal!!!

UNLEASHED POTENTIAL
author: CJUnleashed potential is the best way to describe HFC. There is something in there that sets them apart from the average metal band.Given the chance HFC could see their breed of pure fucking heavy metal take centre stage . Really the ingredients are all there. Take a listen.
100% raw, unclean, uncut and honest heavy f*cking metal
author: KerriHoney For Christ describe their music as 100% raw, unclean, uncut and honest heavy f*cking metal. They are right... and I could leave this review there because that should be all you need to know. However i'll write a bit more about this fantastic release from HFC. TDPOL is a five track CD and the mixture of pure, fast-paced heavy metal on songs like 'Satan and Swastika' and darker, slower more melancholic songs like 'Sorrow Descending' captures the diversity of their style perfectly. The evidence of the energy seen in HFC's live shows is clearly heard on 'Signs of Bitterness' which is a song that can simply not be played loud enough. The title track ‘The Darkest Pinnacle of Light’ is a fantastic song that has the potential to become a heavy metal anthem. All the songs have great emotive lyrics and the clean vocals ensure that these lyrics are carried across perfectly. In the sometimes genre obsessed music industry Honey for Christ are a compelling alternative to the norm and prove that bands still exist that play metal the way it was meant to be.
