The Hollow Trees have been performing around the Los Angeles area for three years now. Originally starting as a duo of guitar and bass, they have expanded to include percussion, violin, mandolin, a jug, and backup singers.
Their new CD "Welcome to Nelsonville" is a high energy offering which brings together influences from bluegrass, country, folk, and early jazz played with gusto and joy in an acoustic setting.
