This is an incredibly varied, but powerful and uplifting album. The band's great strength is that every song lodges in your brain - there are different styles but each are bound together by great songwriting. Powerful riffs yet great melodies and hooks that are hard to dislodge!
Pest is simply a great rock/metal album! The sort of record that you keep going back to, songs that you don't get tired of.
Onstage these songs are even better, but this is a good reproduction of their live sound. Fans of great guitar music are especially in for a treat, the two guitarists perfectly complementing each other with their riffs and solos. Tiff is truly a great vocalist, his performance on the album's only slow song "Fate" is stunning.
