Hiding in Public writes melodic, harmony-filled pop rock that crosses state lines and genres. Kind of like The Eagles in Dire Straits with a dash of Johnny Cash.

Hiding in Public is a pop/rock project based in London that features the guitar playing and singing of Jamie Moses. Jamie is a legendary live and session player with a stellar list of achievements (Queen, Mike & The Mechanics, Brian May Band, Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Bob Geldof).
Warm, melodic songs are loaded with hooks, bends and subtle twists. The lyrics are thought provoking, intensified by the deep, soulful character of Jamie's voice. The melodies will sneak into your memory. The guitar work and its subtle textures weave an unforgettable web.
We think this reviewer at Taxi.com may have said it best:
"Honestly, I can think of nothing to tell you about how you could improve this material ... these songs are beautifully constructed, performed with obvious skill and conviction, and they're memorable. They're very memorable. I won't be able to get a couple of them out of my head for the rest of the day."
If it's late at night and you would like the world to slow down and make sense for a few moments, slip Hiding in Public into your stereo and enjoy it with your favorite nightcap.

author: JoThis cd is brill, Jamies voice is great and so is the whole guitar playing, my favourite song is "Best That I Can" but all the songs are great :-D I would seriously recommend every one to buy this cd!!!!!
Well done!
author: B.I just loved it! Normally not the kind of music I would go for but I am glad I did buy this CD. The only annoying thing is that it's just too short (that's why it only got 4 stars...). Loved Jamie's voice though!
Great Album - we want more!
author: StringfellowThe tracks are very different and yet they draw you in, the lyrics and sound tracks blend fantastically to involve you in the mood of each song. My favourite track is “I don't know how” - it builds up, and builds up, and when you think it can't go further it does. Really excellent. The whole album is expertly recorded and engineered, very tight, well written music that sounds amazing on any decent quality system. The guitar tracks are exceptional. There could be some Matchbox 20 influence in there somewhere. I’m really happy with this album, more please!
Great cd
author: FriedaI don't usually buy this kind of music. But I like this cd very much. I love all the songs although, doing the best that I can is my favourite. And to be honest I just love the sound of Jamie's voice.
GREAT!!
author: MarenI really love that CD!! That smokey voice!! YEAH it's great! My favourite song is The Best That I Can, it's really cool. And I like Fell very much. Good lyrics and a sexy voice, it's the perfect mix! Also Does My Heart Only Lie is great. Well, go on like that, Jamie!
Melodic, bluesy guitars and nostalgia-inducing lyrics
author: JanineSilent Exchange conjures images of smoky bars and neon lights stuttering in rainslick streets. Comparisons with Chris Rea and Tom Waits are inevitable, as are those of a movie soundtrack. If it's a movie, it's about realisations of what has been irrevocably lost, and what still shines as possible. Melodic, bluesy guitars and the velvet rasp of Jamie Moses' voice combine to produce a comforting nostalgia, and with repeated listening, the songs settle in like old friends come round for the evening, with a bottle of Jack in hand.
Like the buzz that rises from the emptiness of a bottle of "Jack!"
author: Troop NewsThe solefull sounds of the trippin tunes raise the soul to stellar levels. The easy glidin beat and the wrasp of the singers voice mimic the best of Dillon and Springsteen. If its the Partridge Family you seek...Hide! For this album is not for you! If Britney Spears makes you scream (and not in horror) steer clear! This album is only for the true at heart, the poets, the lovers and dreamers to be. Hiding in Public raises the bar on musical excellence. So grab some cool sippin Kentucky Mash, crank up the juke box and open your mind to a musical experience you will not forget. As the bottle empties your soul will fill! Thank you Hiding in Public for giving us hope! J.B. Mastiff Editor Trooper News

The Hiding in Public CD creates another world for it's listener. It's hard not to feel the exasperation, confusion, hope and wonder of Fell. I'm Running Late conjours up a smokey dark rain filled alley straight out of a Film Noir classic. There's real angst and movement in these lyrics. My persomal favorite is Does My Heat Only Lie. It's a haunting verse that just reverberates for hours in my head. Lonely as number one probably has the sweetest sound. Very hookey. If the artists were looking to convey that the world is puzzlingly, maddening, hopeful and passionate - They've' accomplished their mission. The guitars are silky smooth, the voice sultry and the lyrics thoughtful. Outside of the unrealized potential of "Best That I Can" -(A potential power ballad megahit disguised as an alt-country song) there's little wrong with this music. Borrowing one line from the artists you could say I guess I really tripped and fell.
Quirky lyrics, sexy voice, rocking rythms!
author: KHCountry meets rock meets soundtrack for a David Lynch movie! The singer's whiskey soaked voice perfectly expresses the mood of the lyrics and the guitar solos are, quite simply, inspired. "I don't know how" is defnitley one to put on the car stereo, turn up the volume and turn the windows down - buy the CD and see what I mean!
Check it out!
author: StingthisgordonHiding in Public is a breath of fresh air - deep, thoughful lyrics with accessible melodies backed by a solid rhythm section. Those born after 1980 need not be scared by the comparisons to Johnny Cash, Dire Straits and the Eagles. I would describe Hiding in Public as a refined Audioslave. The songs address the typically uncontemplated forces that permeate everyday life. Forces that are, if you will, hiding in public. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
