About the Film:
Episode 2. Whilst travelling down to make first contact with a race of reclusive scientists, Captain Carter, Security Chief Prescott, Doctor Holley and two security guards suddenly find themselves in the midst of the American Revolutionary War. Despite their best efforts not to alter history, they run into none other than General George Washington. Back on the Farragut, First Officer Tacket and Chief Engineer Smithfield must work together in a race against time to rescue their missing comrades before they’re lost forever.
About the Music:
This is an original piece of music work by Hetoreyn (composer of Elven Moods). Performed using the amazing sounds of the Vienna Symphonic Library, the album contains music from the film, but also some tracks have been reworked and added to to make for a better listening experience. A terrific film score, and also a worth while addition to any sci-fi fans CD album rack.
The music is highly appropriate for the episode. A good cross between the original "Star Trek" TV Show and movie sound. Where Hetoreyns work really shines is that he has a firm main theme and melody for the crew and the ship, which is re-invented in every cue. Reminding us who and where they are. And also that he establishes notable motifs and secondary melodies for the protagonists and the situations.
