Roaming out of Wild Stockholm, comes four piece the Hellbilly Boys. They are movin' fast; no intention of using them brakes - and they have brought their eponymous debut album.
Their music has been described as High Gain Rockabilly. And it's the rough climate in Scandinavia that has shaped these men into Hellbilly Boys. Cold savage winters and dry summer nights on both sides of the Baltic Sea, throats burning from hard whisky drinking, their senses sedated by the pure-cut power of the sound of Hellbilly soul, along with the passing beautiful woman.
That's what molds their sound -real men, my friend, playing real music. They're not just a covers band like many other Rockabilly outfits. These Hellbillies have put a lot of sweat into writing and are mighty proud to be playing their own tunes in diners, honkytonks, savage biker partys and occasionally, big, bad ass venues.
It's their way or the highway. Seriously.
Larry, Skidi, Inge and Backis have been cranking out their very own style of Hellbilly music for some time. They are not lightweights, oh no. They play hard and they play fast. They have taken on everything being on the road has thrown at them, no matter how ugly, and they'll be damned if they ain't going back for more. Bad knees. Loss of hearing. No humour. Nothing is going to keep these boys from their spreading the Gospel according to Hellbilly. Once they start making that crazy sound, nothing can stop your foot from stomping.
And stomping the terra firma is What They Do.
