This bio below is so old, that it's funny. - hb
Armed with steel determination, a haughty sense of ambition, and a unique flare for songwriting, singer-songwriter Heath Brandon is perched on the cusp of the music scene, ready to unleash his talents on the unsuspecting gamut with his potent guitar playing and natural vocal abilities.
Brandon's guitar playing became an integral part of his life quicker than he could have ever imagined. Since he was constantly writing scripts while studying filmmaking at the University of Buffalo, Brandon decided to try writing songs. "Then it sort of just snowballed into what it is now," the versatile songwriter says.
Surging with a deep-rooted enthusiasm for music, Heath Brandon recorded "Introduction" in May of 2000. Brandon contributed acoustic guitar, drums, and vocals on the album which features bassist Seth Horan, saxophonist Matt Sloane, and guitarist Michael DiSanto. "My plan was to record 'Introduction' as if I was playing guitar in my room and somebody set up the equipment around me and recorded it." A self-confessed jazz lover, Brandon lists a well of jazz instrumentalists & vocalists among his strongest influences.
At 22, Heath Brandon's success so far is a testament to the power of fate and its strange ways. The young musician has already begun his trek on a fantastic and magical journey, simply by following his instincts. (www.heathbrandon.com)

Heath Brandon's Introduction
author: LaurenIntroduction reaches its titled goal. Listeners get a great taste of Brandon's soulful vocals and guitar playing. His voice, guitar, and words blend into one smooth movement that takes you quickly from track 1 to the end. It's a bit of a tease, though. Only six songs leaves you wanting more..... Best tracks...in the key of tom waits - vocals follow the story well and upside down - smooth, smooth, smooth..(it makes ya feel goooooood.)
he's cool like that.
author: *lindsay *graceHeath Brandon's debut Cd, Introduction spends quite a bit of time in my stereo. His vocals are beautiful and clear, and he is an incredibly talented lyricist. His songs are mellow and deep, and with the addition of the saxaphone on the track "upside down", it gives Heath a definite range in his music. Jazzy, fresh and groovy, I really think that this guy is going places :) As well as being talented at writing, and arranging his music, his live performances are fun and light, and everyone should jump at the chance to see this musician live!
Sweet Deal! Especially for the artists first cd!
author: Catherinethis cd is really chill...you can totally relax to it. the vocals are definately impressive as well. the only negative comment i'd have is that some of the songs are pretty similar...BUT, i suppose it's hard to create a variety of sounds when all the songs are based around the guitar being the only instrument. all that aside, it's a great cd. fun for the whole family!
Leaves You Wanting More
author: A J AdlerConsistently engaging and artful, these 8 songs showcase the tip of a singer/songwriter iceburg. Heath's smooth voice and introspective lyrics sink my battleship evertime.
