the first studio album from songwriter and instrument maker patrick kadyk. the album combines the sounds of american roots music with that of middle eastern genres, using a variety of stringed instruments, clarinets, harmonica, trumpet, tablas and voices. many different artists are featured including members from sf hip hop group "live human" and out of round record's "down river". the end result is dark and haunting, focusing on themes of nomads and the lonesome spirit of wandering.
