This Portland Oregon based project developed roughley two years ago under the songwriting of both lead singer Josh McCormick and guitarist Scotty Walker. Hooking up with drummer Tyson Taylor and Darren Stout, Hawthorne was able to capture a Northwest style of melodic and hard hitting riffs that enagage the listener both musically and lyrically. After a chance dicovery, Producer Bob Balder of Transplant Studios helped Hawthorne create an excellent freshman album that has created a stir in the Portland and surrounding areas. This is a band to be taken seriously and many forseen oppurtunities are bound to take place..."Hawthorne is a name to remember."
