Annie Hawkins may be one of the "angels on earth." With so few years, she confidently traverses the Soul in a creditable and melodic way. Annie's voice and guitar were made to move anyone listening to reflect on the profound capacity of men and women to connect. She is a big talent who began in New Jersey, launched heavy riffs at Berklee College of Music, and toured clubs and colleges across the country.

Haunting but hard to like
author: Laurah HoronI really do like this CD - the first four tracks stay in your head and will haunt you for the rest of your life. But I can't listen to it all at once, because Annie Hawkins is very, very raw and sometimes hard to get into. Don't let this stop you from buying this CD, though! It's well worth it for such a beautiful voice and lyrics.
