notes
HATEFIST has been a part of the backbone in the Seattle music community for over 10 years now. With their solid song structure and brutal stage presence it’s no wonder why HATEFIST has built up such a loyal fan base. The band has done shows, or has been involved with several national acts such as; Disturbed, Blood Simple, Nevermore, Himsa, Skinlab, Deicide, Vital Remains, Overkill, F5, Death Angel, Lamb of God, Unearth, Into the Moat, Solient Green, A Perfect Murder, and 36 Crazy Fists, just to name a few.
In 2005 HATEFIST released their second full-length album that was recorded, produced, and sold independently. Their CD release party, held at the nationally known club Studio Seven, recorded over 400 people in attendance. After several shows around Washington state the band sold over 1,000 copies of the self-titled album at shows alone. The album has had airtime on several radio stations including 99.9 KISW and 104.9 Funky Monkey.
HATEFIST was started with drummer Richie Sather and guitarist John Winters at the early age of twelve. Now in their early twenties, HATEFIST has the strongest line up to date with Chad Tenwick on vocals and Chuck Bar on bass. The future for HATEFIST looks promising as they prepare to record their third full length release and get ready to hit the road.

Take your breath away.
author: Monica From NorwayAre you ready for some angry, heavy head-banging?Well,then this CD is the right one for you.Play it loud (please warn your neighbours first)and then the music will blow your brain out. You`ll cant sitt still when you hear this guys playing. It`s not for sensitive souls..
Whoa!!! These guys are intense!!!
author: Anden LylanThe energy and intensity of this cd is mindblowing. It almost rivals OTEP in intensity. I love the brooding guitar. However, I think the weak point is the vocals. Other than that, all I can say is wow. LISTENING TO THIS CD IS LIKE BEING ON A ROLLERCOASTER WITH NO WAY OFF!!! METALHEADS REJOICE!!!

If Pantera, Machine Head or Slayer are your cup of tea (hemlock, anyone?), Hatefist will not only quench that thirst for kickass metal but there's a real good chance it will blow you away. These guys put the meaning back in thundering drums and frentic, thrashing guitars. They make a large majority of other "nu metal" groups sound like new age fairies. Seriously, if brutal, screaming rage-inspired, frenzied insanity is what you're after, Hatefist goes well beyond the call of duty. Some of the best metal we've heard in ages.
