Harptallica was started in late 2006 by harpist Ashley Toman, who had a love for heavy metal, and her instrument the harp.
After arranging nine Metallica songs for two harps, she and her friend harpist Patricia Kline recorded them, and just released their album "Harptallica, A Tribute" in April of 2007. They are planning a tour for the fall, and would like to cover other bands in the future.
