Happy Music for the soul, what a delight! I loved the CD, as well as the heartfelt lyrics that Doug writes. My favorite song was Fay, brought tears to my eyes. Great CD packaged and wrapped with talent, vocals, and muscianship. It's a must to add to anyone's collection.

  • The songs are uplifting, some are inspiring, some are funny.

I loved many of the songs instantly, which usually doesn’t happen when I listen to music, I tend to need to hear songs a few times to fully enjoy them. I have listened to this CD at least two hundred times, maybe more! I was surprised that I never got tired of listening to these songs, as one tends to do when a CD is played that many times. The songs are uplifting, some are inspiring, and some are funny. There’s more variety than most CDs, which I appreciate. I love the high quality of the recording, the great talent of all the musicians, and Scott Tanski’s fantastic voice. The harmonies are beautiful. I feel happy when I listen to this CD. Doug Schenker writes interesting meaningful lyrics and unique music which you’ll find yourself singing on your own.

  • melodies are original and innovative
    author: Ray Verno

On the Hard Broccoli Cinderblock & Board Days CD the melodies are original and although innovative, will still remind you of groups like The Beach Boys with and without their patented harmonizing, and any other band, like Fleetwood Mac, that utilizes a great slide guitar in their songs.
