Hank "the hawk" Mowery and Nick "tangent boy" Mowery (cousins) collaborate to create the perfect mix of blues harmonica and driving guitar. If you like acoustic blues- this is for you!
Hank Mowery's first release, "Live From The Kitchen"- The Hawktones- was recorded live at the Rhythm Kitchen in Grand Rapids, MI in 1996. His harmonica style has been closely compared to Gary Primich and Kim Wilson.
Nick Evans Mowery owns and manages Tangent Boy Productions in Las Vegas, NV. His guitar style has evolved from the study of artists such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Edward Van Halen and Steely Dan. NEM releases include: "30 Yrs Gone"(2004) and "Blood & Rust"(2005)
Hank and Nick have been performing for close to 20yrs. This compilation was recorded during two sessions 07/22/2002 and 04/17/2005.
