About Haley:
Beginning in Germany and winding its way to New Mexico, Haley's life has taken her through rich and diverse scenery -- providing an intriguing blend of influences that can be heard in her music. Listening to her play her instruments and sing her poetry, you immediately notice American, European and Eastern textures.
Experienced in solo as well as ensemble/band work, her training and experiences enable her to do everything from hospice work with only her harp to composing, performing, and directing full production musicals. If a project is unique and uplifting, she's interested.
Haley was trained at Blackwell Academy of the Arts under Bumps Blackwell, once known as the Hollywood Starmaker, as well as the Dick Grove School of Music, the University of Santa Cruz, Cabrillo College, University of New Mexico, the Rick Hale School of Engineering and Production, and lots of lessons from individual virtuosos.
Haley has taught technical and improvisational skills for over twenty years, and as any one of her students will quickly tell you, ten hours of practice is needed for every minute of performance. Haley practices what she preaches, and it shows. If ever you have the opportunity to see her perform live, grab it.

The music of the harp, one of the oldest instruments on earth, seems to resonate from some deep, hidden world, and the instrument and player are inviting us in. The music on The Healing Stream creates a warm, welcoming place in which to bathe our souls. The songs use various modes and scales to create a wide palette of sound, and are all reflective of the natural beauty for which they are named. Relaxing, rejuvenating and just plain beautiful, this album is a treat for mind body and spirit. Use it for listening. Use it for meditating. Use it for healing.
