notes
Music by Moni Safikhani.
Lyrics from Mehrdad Fallah.
Produced and Engineered by Shahram Sharbaf
HACK sarted in 2001 by Moni Safikhani as SingerSongwriterGuitarist. After two solo albums , in 2003 Moni teamed up with modern Persian poet Mehrdad Fallah and Sarakhs, another popular local rock band, to record Hack's first album named 'Under my Skin'. Kasra Ebrahimi (Drums) with Behzad Khiavchi (GuitarBacking Vocal) and Peter Akop (Bass) from Sarakhs joined Moni for the first album, each adding their own energy and vibe to the music.
This wasn't the first time Moni was collaborating with Sarakhs, as they had shared the stage at several live gigs. Hack quickly found a following in the Iranian Rock music scene with its first single 'Sheypoor' which received great feedback and appreciation at first UMC virtual music festival held by TehranAvenue.com.
In late 2003 Hack launched its website Hackonline.co.uk. At the same time Moni was writing new songs and recording demo tracks for the second album. With lyrics by Mehrdad and more focus on song writing, Hack penned more than 20 songs for the new album. Hack started to record new songs in 2004 with drummer Aynee Kaivanshokooh, Kasra Saboktakin (Bass) and Shahram Sharbaf (SynthesizerProduction). 'Man'. Recordings finished in later summer 2005 and the album went under mixing and cover design process. The new album was produced and engineered by Shahram Sharbaf, with CD sleeve designed by Zartosht Soltani.

They are incredible in Persian rock. Especially their poems are prefect match to music and it's totally first time in Persian rock that I heard some songs with brilliant content like this. I hope they release another one as well.
Nice
author: RezafcHey I got the cd at last, 5 days ago... It was so nice, I mean with the engineering of Shahram which band or singer or musician would go wrong?!? right? I really love the music and the lyrics of course, they look pretty new age in a persian way and also they are from the heart I can totally feel that. It's so cool when you hear these stuff here and there from some really really proffesional persians arround the Globe. All together I really appriciate what you've done and I thank you. Again I love the music and lyrics they really have some stuff to say. (I think that's why I bought the CD right? he he he) Anyway Keep up the good work boys, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!
