notes
Here it is, one of waited for discs, "like water of May", “Como Agua de Mayo”, this year. Finally Asturian "the Gueta na Fonte"(Search in the Source), sends their first disc in solitaire. Previously three songs in recopilatorio had been published: "Nuevu Folk Astur" vol. 4 of discs "L´Aguañaz". "Como Agua de Mayo" is a disc composed in begun Winter to record in Spring, conquered during the Summer and published in Autumn. Contains 16 "tracks" of which 4 are traditional of Céltics Countries and 12 original compositions of Mento Hevia, one of the founders of the group in 2000. In addition to Mento Hevia, the group are: Juan Povedano, Luis Garcia Ampudia, Daniel Alvarez, Vanesa Vez Caraduje Jose Francés and Nancy Quintáns de la Prida.
For the recording of the disc there are counted with the collaboration of Xuaco de la Miranda, David Varela and the Choir Classic Chapel of Luanco directed by Facundo Artime.
Not is Folk typical... rather is Asturgaélic music, of strong Atlantic component and NeoRomántic, produced in the style of right now.
We hoped that musical ours trabayo acts like BRIDGE between two times of the Asturian Culture".
It is a disc done in nonsingle Asturias for single Asturian@s,no for lovers of the Folk, and not only for minors of 40 years. It contains fast pieces and slow and diverse colorful musical comedies Y if of colors we spoke the green one and the blue one is a constant in him. Ye a varied disc. There are Sonorous Muñeiras, Jotas, Pasacalles and Bandas that evoke scenes and landscapes in the Imagination... also some small "Spiritual Target".. ... breaking lances. for authentically human a human development. Gueta na Fonte (Search in the Source), they are of which think that another world (better) ye possible and this note about music which they do.

Excellent Folk/Celtic Album!
author: RadioIndy.comGueta na Fonte’s (Search in the Source’s) "Como Agua de Mayo" (Like Water of May) struck us immediately as a winner of Celtic structure and so much more with it's modern and awesome production. Melodically modern, the varied ancient folk instrumentation gives the music on the CD a very powerful and deep sound. In listening to the CD, it becomes clear that this is the work of highly skilled musicians. The female vocals on some of the tracks, such as “Luz's Flower,” has a very rich and passionate tone and is pitch-perfect. This CD, which is a collaboration from Xuaco de la Miranda, David Varela and the Choir Classic Chapel of Luanco directed by Facundo Artime, combines upbeat delightful pieces and easily transforms to slower and timeless pieces, such as one of our favorite tracks, "In The Forest Of Love." The final track, "Dance Of May," is our stand-out favorite track with a beautiful combination of acoustic guitar and a beautiful lead female vocals that builds into the more traditional instrumentation of the CD. If you enjoy world or celtic music, you will enjoy this CD.
