gschmitt is an independent singer/songwriter/guitarist with a jazz background and a love for strong melodies, tight grooves and organic sounds. He has already started garnering media attention and many of his tracks are sure to become part of limitless radio station and music fan's playlists.
g’s strong guitar playing, singing and songwriting come together on his debut album, “The Year in Pictures” in a smooth stream of favorite song after favorite song. His work has been referred to as “jazzy, urbane pop music for smart guys and gals” by some and “funky guitar-slinger jazz-rock” by others. Give it a listen and judge for yourself.

Great from start to finish...
author: AngelIf you my fellow reader/music lover are on this page, read up, this is definitely a CD to get! This jazzy/contemporary rock entry by G is a smash. Lots of good songs here! From Muddy Water, a cool groovy song with a catchy chorus that will hold your attention all the way through, to track 3 - One more day... (I have to say that for a 3 or 4 chord song it is extremely good and I have had it in my head for a week now!) through This Imperfect World and it's subtle use of Latin percussion, to the final track. It's all good. I have to say that these guys musicianship show throughout the whole disc. Great guitar tones, percussion/drums, etc. and better still, great lyrics! But don't believe me, listen to the tracks on this page and judge for yourselves! ;-) Why 4 stars? Packaging and no lyrics sheet and some production hiccups that are noticeable if you listen at higher volumes (or with headphones) Other than that, a great example of good music on this site.
