Live music, high lonesome voices cutting the air, rough and raw and driving - the REAL DEAL! Bluegrass as it was meant to be. This is what you would hear in a club or a barn dance in the mountains far, far east of here back in the day. People listening, dancing, laughing, drinking, shouting, crying, living their lives through song.
Heartbreak and Loneliness, Grizzly Peak’s first CD, was recorded live in the studio. Our goal was to record the way we play - live on the stage together.
This is our interpretation of the REAL DEAL! - loud and clear, full of life, love, heartbreak and loneliness.

Grizzley Peak nails that high lonesome sound
author: Bruce CampbellI really enjoyed this CD! The harmony vocals are fun throughout, and the musicianship is top-notch. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, it's their first album, and I wanted to leave some room for an even higher rating for their next release! This is a great CD for any bluegrass fan's collection!
