From the quiet pastoral scenes of the foothills of North Carolina emerged a band that defied all traditional views of what a pop punk/powerpop band should be.

GREATER THAN b....
Don't call them the usual
Don't call them boring
and whatever you do....
Do NOT call them pretty.

Take a longwinded, overly lazy, Genius Songwriter "Q" (lead vocals/guitar), add the unassuming, dressed in a Food Lion shirt, sticks like lightning, Jamie (drums/backing vocals) and top it off with.... Their high school English teacher?!!? Yes...their high school English teacher... bald, older than dirt, monster on the bass, "mOss" (bass) and you get what we affectionantly refer to as.... Greater than b.
The combination of the three leads to high octane pop punk reminiscent of The Ataris, and the Starting line, with strains of Mest and MxPx thrown in for good measure.
For the past 5 years Greater than b's special aromatic blend of fast lines, hook filled lyrics, and their wild yet humorous antics have left the crowds wanting more and humming the choruses on the way home.

    True story i was jumping around my house while i was cleaning and my mom came in while i was cleaning.Yes i live on my own well my wife and i.Anyway i was sweeping the floor when my mom came in the back door and i had the >b cd booming and she walked up behide me and i was playing the broome and well she cought on to the face.scared me to death i almost wet myself.So after i helped her up off the floor we jumped around together.Mom rocks.So buy the CD it will make you smack yo momma

    If you havent got a Cd get one.I havent took it out of the player sents i got mine.Book the guys for parties, shows,Or to wake you up in the morning.I hear they make a great alarm clock.

    Dude. This CD will rock your socks off. And if you don't buy it, the llamas will eat you, everyone at school will hate you and your parents will put you up for adoption. And you'll become emo. No one wants that, so buy the CD and let all your friends listen and make them buy it too. Don't just burn them copies. That's cheap. If you burn your friends copies, it'll be just like you didn't buy the CD and all the things said above will happen, but in addition, a large man named "Bubba" will beat you over the head with a trout. Buy this CD. Tell your friends. Live a long, happy life.

    SONGS FOR THERAPY is a terrific album! It's just one of those CD's that you can listen to ALL the way through without getting bored, and that's saying a LOT! The tracks are each unique, with no one song being like another. You can listen to this CD ANYTIME! It's GREAT for working out, rocking with your walkman, driving in the car, or playing in the background while you party with friends.The music on this CD just DRIVES while still being fun, with LOTS and LOTS of personality.
