THE GREASY BEATS are an all-star funky music machine that hails from Los Angeles and features some of the most respected and in-demand musicians in Southern California. Every individual in this funky gang of musicians has made their mark on the music scene. "They got the name of the group right on this one -- because the music here is greasy and gritty -- partly deep funk, and partly older soul-styled grooves! The group are a largeish combo with vamping guitar, burning organ, snapping drums, and a nice brace of horns on the top -- and they're joined here by Mixmaster Wolf of Breakestra -- who sings lead vocals on 3 of the EP's 5 tracks!
