Jackson, NJ - On June 15, talented vocalist John Gray and his new imprint, MANNAGOD Records, will officially take their place on the music scene with the release of not one, but two debut CDs -- the gospel inspired JOURNEY and the R&B laced COVENANT discs. Both albums showcase
John's undeniable talents as a singer, songwriter and producer, and mark the first offerings from his NJ-based MANNAGOD Records. Gray serves as President/CEO of the new company.

Together, JOURNEY and COVENANT provide music lovers with a full spectrum of spiritual and emotional satisfaction. Infused with inspirational messages of hope and praise, JOURNEY is an incredible musical testimony that exalts and renews the spirit. Such featured songs as "Mannagod,"
"Church Boy," and the title track are destined to become gospel standards.

By using soul-drenched ballads and infectious mid-tempo tunes, COVENANT explores the beauty and challenges of love and relationships. Standout cuts include "Iris," "From This Day," and "Will You Marry Me," a tune poised to be a mainstay at weddings for years to come.

John Gray has been singing and performing since he was seven years old. He burst onto the scene in 1995 when he joined the Grammy-award winning troupe Kirk Franklin and the Family as a cast member for the highly successful gospel production "He Say, She Say, But what Does God Say?" Gray went on to tour with the group for three years.

From that point, his career continued to flourish. Among things he has guest starred on TV shows, toured with gospel bands, earned wide acclaim as a comedian, and appeared in a number of stage productions. In 2004,
John decided to tell the uplifting story of his own life via MANNAGOD - The Journey, a gospel play in which he not only stars, but also wrote, produced and directs. The production is currently enjoying a run of sold-out shows in the New York-New Jersey area, and is poised for a
national rollout in the coming weeks.

MANNAGOD Records is a unit of MANNAGOD Enterprises, Inc., a Jackson, NJ-based company that also includes a stage production unit, clothing line and management wing, among other elements. John Gray founded MANNAGOD in 2004 with his partner and company COO Glenn Richardson.

You performed at our cathedral dome (Faith Chapel Christian Center, Birmingham, AL) last year and blew the roof off with your whimsical, yet alluring gift of song and spiritual comedy.     I really enjoy listening to the Covenant CD. It is filled with tender, heartfelt, uplifting love between a husband and his wife. I'm not sure if John Gray will be reading this review, but I would like for John Gray to come to Pottstown, PA. The only problem is I need financing to accommodate his honorarium.     The Journey album is an amazing diverse album. I love each song on the album but my favorite is Journey. I love that song as well as Mannagod especially the intro. John Gray is an anointed man of God and this album is just one of the examples of how God is using him.

    This isn't just music...it's John Gray the human being. If only we all were this honest with our trust walk! After hitting repeat on the first song about 100 times, I finally listened to the rest of the CD. This brother can sang! That's not a typo, I said SANG! He didn't limit himself to one genre of music so there's something for everyone to enjoy. Contemporary, Jazz, Country, Traditional...whatever your flavor, John Gray's got it!

    all i can say is wow! what a beautiful work of art this is for the ears to experience! this cd is phenominal!!!! the music is uplifting, inspirational and soulful. smooth soulful music provides an excellent prelude to the lyrics that seem to not only embrace you, but comfort & and inspire. the gospel tracks are truthful & real. my favorites on the journey cd are: "journey", "your newest son", "mannagod" and "we come to worship". each track leaves you wanting more and more of the others. i can honestly say.....this music is spiritually addictive. a true "journey" and experience.

    Smooth! The whole Journey cd is an awesome work of God. It has it all! After I saw the play for the first time, I had the pleasure of listening to this Holy Ghost filled cd. It had some hip hop, country, spiritual r&b and back to church when we used to really have chruch! I am a country music fan, so when I heard The Trucker's Anthem I was blown away. This cd has a lot of flava! God truly works through Mr. Gray and He will continue to, because he is uplifting the name of Jesus.
