Looking for that special something to pass the time while lamenting a sour relationship? This might be just what you need- 19 rockabilly singles celebrating the darker side of romance.
The CD starts off with The Deadcats who sing She-Devil, the story of a “special” gal who comes out after dark to break your heart and tear you apart. This is followed by Big John Bates’ Kitten With A Whip. Big John declares that he has been victimized by a girl with a “Traci Lordes smile.” Next up is a rockin’ little number by The Steubenville Knights who sing about Katy who is, according to them, “twice as cold as a Frigidaire.”
Other songs celebrate prison gals (Hot Li’l Hellcat by The Spectres), and evil undead girlfriends (D.A. Sebasstian & The Inner Demons of KsK).
