Dark, Cold, Mysterious, Daring Ritual Metal for practical use. Caution. Accustoming at a subconscious level.

notes

Gevolt presents to your attention a kit of songs for practical use - "Sidur".

This Power-Quintet delivers you the most somber atmospheres, beautiful but eerie melodies, layered walls of hi-tech sounds, aggressive guitars and theatrical passionate performance.
The album features an authentically designed booklet made on an especial paper with exclusive engravings from Alexander Gorokhov.

If you have any troubles singing in the language of "Sidur" (Russian), do not worry - the inlay contains latin transcriptions of the lyrics. For a deeper analysis, seek for english translations at the Gevolt's website - www.gevolt.com

a great album, a great music, i really enjoy this dark side. i hope the new album will be as good as that one but i'm quiet sure it will. Really a great great band, thank you.

The music is good. It is somber. I wished I knew what the words meant! I bought the CD because of an article in the Jewish Daily Forward which was touting the CD as contemporary music that was in Yiddish. I was anxious to receive the CD because I have studied Yiddish and I bought an extra CD for a friend who is Yiddish scholar. I went on Gevolt's web site and I remain intrigued by who they are as a group of musicians and their inclusion of Yiddish. Perhaps my focus is too narrow - I will grant you that. This is my first experience with CD baby and I think it is a great company. Thank you! Evan Siegel
