GEORGES CHATELAIN is one of France’s best known sound engineers and composers. He worked with such well-known international artists as Paul Simon, John Denver, Ralph McTell, Lee Hazlewood, Johnny Hallyday, Nana Mouskouri, Mick Jones (Foreigner), The Pentangles, the Jordanaires (Elvis Presley’s backup group), Joe Dassin, Françoise Hardy, Cano Caoli (Japanese artist), and appeared as an actor in France’s poet-film maker Jean Cocteau’s “ Le Testament d’Orphée”.
Georges also worked with celebrated French songwriter Jacques Revaux (of My Way fame) and Claude-Michel Schoenberg, composer of The Miserables and Miss Saigon.
Georges wrote words and music to a song which has, over the past 40 years become an evergreen in the Netherlands, “ De Clown,” with more than 90 cover versions including those by Ben Cramer, Franz Bauer, James Last, Ronnie, DJ Otzi, Pierre Kartner/Vader Abraham and Dario.
His new album is a blend of mood music, new age and music to dream by. The powerful melodies chill, calm and project a positive energy after a hard day’s work.

The best instrumental cd i've heard for a long time !
author: AORThis is without a doubt the most original & melodic music i've heard this year ! Georges Chatelain is well known in France for his incredible production skills and with this new cd he proves he's the finest talent around & an incredible composer & arranger ! Great music ! Highly recommended !!!
