George Pajon Jr. is a guitar player of rare and exceptional ability. Best known for his work with the Black Eyed Peas (Interscope Records), George has been a major force in helping shape the sound of Hip Hop through his originality, creativity, and vision in a genre that is often lacking in original sound and deprived of outstanding musicianship.

No longer 'Behind the Front', George's first solo album brings his funky stylings to the forefront with this foray into jazz/hip hop instrumental world with his BEP bandmates and special guests including Robert Walter (Greyboy All-Stars), Fred Wesley (James Brown, JB Horns) and Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock, The Headhunters) bringin' it!

George's musical dexterity has never been more apparent than in his current solo project, "Fried Plantains", which fuses the sounds of jazz, hip hop, blues, and rock with his undeniable guitar skills.     George Pajon Jr., working by himself or with the Black Eyed Peas, is a winner. He uses great sounds,writings and original solos to paint a amazing picture. George has a bounty of professional dudes working to support his vision. Great keyboard & organ solos by Robert Walter. Bass lines are delivered with legendary flair...thanks to Mike Fratantuno. Trombonist Funky Fred Wesley is also lending a horny hand to these colourful cats. Say no more. George put out a Super Groovy CD. Pajon is the guitar god! Gecko Sleuth Girl approved Madness!

    It appears that this album was recorded to place the listener in the studio with the artists as they are performing. Not a jammin' session, but a live tracking session where you get to be part of the action. Listen carefully not only to the incredible music, but to the fun of all the artists as they beat out a thumpin' A+ album. Wonderfully engineered and mastered. Pajon and company at their best.

    Hey when you have a block party all crammed into a cd you call it Fried Plantains brother! George gets the sick licks all in alignment herein. He's assembled the naughtiest playas and signed em up for his cherry buster. Great music,very mature and sophisticated writing quality! He will have your bubble butt a shakin' in no time.

    This guy NOT only rocks out with the Black Eyed Peas but he keeps the Funk alive! My Gaggle of Busty Babes like to Boogie Woogie to Pajon's Grooves. We get all made up for the digital pics and then relax after a hard days of photos. The other Babes seem to enjoy my music and my curves! Wow...Georgie has the Plantains standing at attention just like we do. The Hard ons keep a cummin' especially at The Score Group Gatherings! Thanks Mr. Plantain!!

    The guitar rifts are cool man. GP has the talent to be a solo artist. He is with the Black Eyed Peas on tour circa 2007. This project is all the way Pajon though. No rappin or spoken words on this disc. Nope! GP has hooked it just right folks! Amazing quality of arrangements were required to get this space craft off the ground. Just grab a copy and hold on tight Leonard!

Supremely intelligent writing offered herein. Grey Boy All Star Robert Walter locks in on the keys and organ. George Jr., now with The Black Eyed Peas, as you all know is on tour and mighty busy. Attention soul jazz soldiers and college perverts...embrace Fried Plantains before it goes out of print. It is smoking and cool like your communal water pipe back in the hood! George Pajon is da man on the guitar!!

    This album has a good jazz / funk / boogaloo sound in a niiiiccccce groove, the musicians are top notch. Highly recommended. An interesting listen--great horns, keyboards, and guitar!!! Don't pass this up...

    Hey Yo It's Survey Time again people...NWO style. Look, if you like to 'Pass the Peas' and your knees go weak with the precision of a geek(gone amuk during first year at the local college; over ample cuties and dried-herbal-growth) then your probably going to go hog-wild over these grooves. Fans of the Black Eyed Peas know the talent behind some of the current cuts. George Pajon Jr. is completely stacked both on his own musically and, or with a group of seasoned funk-heads. Fans of Robert Walter's 20th Congress know the vibe all to well. Throw in legendary 'Rusty' Trombonist Fred Wesley and you it's live from party central people! Chucky Pada's pulsating percussion propels this disc into orbit. The guitar licks are vintage and modern. Drums and bass are perfectly large and double phatties for the voluptuous vagabonds alike. The talent assembled herein is Mondo people. Get yours before its gone.

    Never heard of him before, but I picked up the disc b/c of the allstar surrounding cast. I was thrilled to experience the deep fried funk that resonated throughout the entire album. It is a great disc that gets better w/ each listen.
