It's indeed a pleasure to introduce Gene Stewart's new and first gospel album titled: "A Change Is Gonna Come." If you enjoyed gene's tribute to Sam Cooke, then you will surely enjoy his gospel CD album. This talented artist with his smooth silky style, is a member, as well as one of the lead vocalist of Gospel Hall of Fame & Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees: "THE LEGENDARY SOUL STIRRERS".


This Album takes you into the roots of Gene's love for gospel music. Influence by artists as: The Soul Stirriers, Shirley Caesar, Bobby Womack, James Cleveland, Aretha Franklin, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Willie Rogers, Sam Cooke, Mr.Gene Barge, Jermaine Stewart, Johnnie Taylor and many many others.

    Gene Stewart's song writing skills is spectacular. He captured the essence of Sam Cooke's style of soul gospel music in tracks like I Can Do All Things, which is my personal favorite. Just truly a very inspirational compilation. I highly recommend this cd.
