    author: Joanna Vargas

i LOVE LISTEN TO THIS CD ITS OFF THE CHAIN

  • author: rap guru

weak. if you are true underground rap collector, the very rare album, gang bang poetry, would be in your collection. coming from that one, this one is watered down with weak material and beats. hes matured, as hes stated in the album. its time to move on to other things.

  • Gangsta Dre, his lyrical delivery and style of music production takes me back...
    author: Chosun

Growing up in the late 80s and in the early 90s, I found myself listening to various styles of hip-hop...from the east coast, Rakim, Nas, Wu-Tang, LL, Biggie, to the west coast, NWA, DJ Quik, MC Eiht, to later Snoop, Ras Kass, and so on. As I listen to Gangsta Dre, his lyrical delivery and style of music production takes me back to those days, especially the way he sets off his CD with “Inner City Poet”, a West Coast Anthem so to speak with the traditional west coast style production on the keys, and the early in the game delivery such as Kurupt or Daz Dillenger. A couple tracks later he mellows out but keeps it ‘gangsta’ with “The Web We Weave”, that reminds me of a Scarface track because of the laid back, but hard piano. • To much talent for them beats. The beats brought him down.
    author: Lucifer Grey

The over all production cought my attention, but after a close listening the beats weren't what I thought they were. Gansta Dre has talent.
