THE JOE GALEA BAND
One of Australia’s most respected entertainers Joe has had many years of experience both in Australia and Overseas, his music appealing to all age groups.
Whether it be Rockin’blues/Soul or straight Rock n Roll Joe has the ability to reach every last person in his audience. Joe has had many fine talented musicians behind him over the years but the fact remains that they are all there to hear one person - “The Nightingale on Steroids”.

author: Billy PinnellIt would be unsurprising if singer/band leader Joe Galea was to be the reincarnation of an African American blues singer from the ‘30’s, such is the authenticity he brings to his music. Galea and his funky rocking band (bass, drums, keyboard, sac and lead/slide guitar) are augmented on this new release (two originals, eight covers), by a brass section, harmonica, fiddle (Andy Baylor) and backing vocals (Kelly Auty, magnificent on Otis Redding’s hit “You Left The Water Running”.
