notes
Michigan-based pianist/composer Frederick Isaac has been a working musician for almost two decades, starting out as a professional drummer while still in his teens. This album features an amalgamation of various styles and interpretive approaches, all extending from his varied career as a pianist. His experience ranges from being a keyboardist for rock legend Ben E. King, to accompanying for the famed Joffrey Ballet of New York, to "gigging" as a jazz and salsa pianist, to accompanying/directing for professional musical theater organizations and church ministries, to being a college professor, and the list goes on.
We hope this album engages the listener with a refreshing approach to an overly saturated market - holiday music.
We also hope you enjoy this unique little Christmas package not only during the season, but throughout the year as well.

Christmas Fantasies
author: GabbyI really like the cd. It is refreshing! Not like every other Christmas CD out there. Frederick Isaac did a wonderful job bringing a twist to the typical holiday melodies.
Christmas Fantasies
author: Emilee A.I was lured to this cd by the adorable holiday sketchings and thought it would be perfect background music while the kids decorated the house for the holiday. Needless to say, I was quite surprised by the music. While a couple of the tracks were a little too technical for my taste, this cd stepped away from the cliche of holiday music we are all inundated with at this time of year. "Angels We Have Heard On High" is especially exquisite and lovely! I would buy this cd a thousand times over for just that one track!
