notes
Festival encompasses all of the character you would expect from the Spanish Guitar. Varying tempos and fiery rhythms that are unpredictably accented by beautiful arpeggios and tremolo. The melodies and percussive rhythms are "fun and highly addictive".
Francois spent many of his formative years living in various locations throughout the world and now resides in San Francisco California. He has performed in Masters Classes in front of the LA Guitar Quartet, Gray and Pearl Duo. His teachers include Eric Sinclair, Sue Burkhart, Carver Blanchard, Scott Tennant and Andrew York.
Rodrigo is from the town of Los Gatos located in Northern California. He currently resides in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Rodrigo has studied traditional Flamenco Guitar with maestros Mariano Cordoba, Kenny 'El Lebrijano" Parker and "El Carbonero" of Jerez Spain.

Travelled through Spain. This CD brings Spain to my feet.
author: Dave MacLeanAfter travelling through Spain a few times, I found and still find much pleasure in listening to Festival, by Francois&Rodrigo. When I listen to this music I just close my eyes and feel the mild mediterranean wind meandering across my face. The music is uplifting and yet relaxing in its own Spanish style.
