I would like to introduce to everyone at CD Baby and overlooked musical writer, music producer, and also a Korg beat maker, performance artist, actor and sole proprietor at Footprint Entertainment Group, Jason Earl Williams. We are an independent record label straight out of the heart of Denver Colorado. Footprint is in the process of producing music albums and music videos, while arranging local music concerts in our area. In January of 2003, Footprint Entertainment Group became an official licensed business. Since then we have been involved in numerous ventures to raise the awareness of our efforts. Footprint is an organization that is committed to the mind, body, and soul. All artists within Footprint are committed to our goals in good faith to develop one of the largest Educational/Recreational centers in Denver Colorado.
In early 2003, soon after the birth of the business, Footprint began working on our first album, Toxic Block Project. This LP consists of seventeen tracks. Although, our group was working with limited studio equipment, we managed to distribute over a thousand copies single handedly during that summer. Shortly thereafter, Footprint Entertainment began working on four underground, self-created videos to represent our city. These were all filmed in Denver. The general public and producers from channel 57 and 58 (community based noncommercial television station) took notice of our efforts. The videos that we have done were self produced with Army Armstrong Films. The television producers played our videos on their music shows for over two years, subsequently, my fans in Colorado are asking for more. So, now I am reaching out to you to help expand my quest and tell me how you feel about my music.
The names of my videos are Fallen, The Life of a Beat up Street Pole, Our Way, and Hard Times. All of these music videos were filmed in 2003. I am now ready to release part 2 of a true story. Footprint Entertainment Group’s music is all about the reality, “Hip-Hop”. I am in the process of shooting four more videos and will share those as they are completed.
