If John Frusciante (of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and DJ Shadow were to score a film directed by David Fincher. It would sound like this.

notes
Honing their studio skills and coining the phrase Dubhop, Supremely dedicated committed artists Matt James, Aaron Grain and Dan Sorce, FNDMNTL's debut release, "Subduction", arouses a fresh feel of deep-dub-downtempo-soul, acid jazz and hip-hop. Paying close attention to detail Subduction is like a mix-tape moving continuously, seemingly without break. The mind participates and the head nods subconsciously.
"Subduction" suits both intimate situations and intensive listening - provoking conversation. Reciprocated by the seducing cover art work by acclaimed artist George Vergette, this CD is one that will be on your MOST PLAYED list.
FNDMNTL has been featured on CBS, The L Word, Godiva's, TBS, Showtime, Showcase.
FNDMNTL produces with guitar, percussion, programming, bass, turntables, and samplers. They bring forth their own brand of instrumental music; encompassing beefy instruments, fat filled bass lines, sharp traps, and sugary sprinkles of tasty programming.

Hypnotic
author: Samantha, Calgary ABA few notes on a TV series sent me hunting for this disc and it was more than worth the effort. The rhythms saturate and seduce. There isn't an activity or mood that will not be favourably enhanced by this CD.
beats and rhythms and melodies and and and
author: Chris DClever compositions with solid grooves make this a joy to listen to, right up there with T-Spigot, Banco de Gaia, and any number of better-known acts. Beautiful crunchy downtempo music.
F_ckin fat beats
author: Bill Bansworthy, UKA cool, creative, conversational trip of fat beats and sweet riddims this album twists and turns and keeps you completely interested for the entire hour then it repeats and you didn’t even notice. Well worth the money and effort. LOVED IT!!!!!
dope cd
author: Tim, LAIf your into Portishead type beats with a twist, this is an album for you. The beats are big and chunky with a cool haunting quality. This is some real music. Not your average instrumental album....much better.
