Come see us at the Blue Door in Houston June 26th at 9PM. Westheimer at Wilcrest.

Flowerpot is a Houston based power-pop trio whose music is as infectious as they are.

Solid grooves, insightful lyrics and catchy pop melodies help provide their signature sound.

Combine those with swirling guitars and all of today's modern sounds and Flowerpot's music becomes a good friend you've only just met.

All of these sounds can be heard on their latest release 'Better Late Than Never.' This much anticipated release from the band marks their first full length recording, and fulfills the promise of their first EP 'howmuchdoweowe,' which offered a glimpse into the band's unique brand of wit and pop sensibilities.

Now, that glimpse has blossomed into the next step for Flowerpot, 'Better Late Than Never.' Eight tasty pop songs that hold your attention and make you beg for more, including the regional radio hit 'I Know.'

With the crunchy guitars and lush harmonies in 'Realize,' to the up-tempo fan favorite 'Reality,' Flowerpot's 'Better Late Than Never' will become one of your favorites.

Fantastic all Around. You have Fantastic voices(I can really Relax when you sing)! Plus the Instrumentals are out of this world! At first you had soothing and Totally Relaxing playing then you got into the heavier stuff. I liked it - this CD is the coolest(some instrumentals I haven't heard before). Keep up the Good Work, because I for sure would Love to hear nice soothing, relaxing music like yours more often! Thank you!

  • A tight, hooky rocker

The vocals are accessible, and the singer has a good command of his voice and a decent range. Impassioned drums definitely makes "Better Late Than Never" worth 9 bucks.

The Posies are back! Nice power pop with great harmonies throughout - - which isn't a bad thing. Nice production also. -

  • Big pop songs

Good, strong, melodic vocals on this disk. Catchy choruses, sounds a little like the Posies.

  • Review of "Talent Show"
    author: Dave

The intro was neat, to me the guitar sounded like a harp which created a cool feel. And when the band came in a good groove was immediately set. The vibe was very "chill" - like a good background song to have on while doing homework or talking on the phone. Now here is where I must give my props - I could actually make out ALL of the lyrics, the vocalist was very clear and atriculate, which has been very rare in the reviews I have done here. Usually the listener can catch only the chorus, as the vocals try and fight the guitars, but this timeI got everything, and dug it. "Life is a talent show / Step right up it's time to go" Chorus: "Try to walk a straight line" Liked when the heavy guitars come in, this texture really makes the song less POPPY and more ROCK! The only thing I would watch out with long guitar solos, is that the time of the song resticts radio play. Keep on rockin' in the free world!

  • Great original band.
