"Marianne Flemming now makes Vancouver, Washinton home but the singer/songwriter's travels around the world, from the Caribbean to Europe to South America have lent her folk-blues a singular style ungoverned by race or region".

Born and raised in South Florida, Marianne first got the music bug from her father, a crooner from the big band era. She developed a love for the eccentric and emotional aspects of song from listening to Jane Siberry, Anita O'Day, Frank Zappa, Howlin Wolf, and many others. Her music has been called both sensual and sweet, endearingly funny, and soulfully insightful.

With the addition of a family, Marianne has settled down in Southwest, Washington but she still tours Florida, the Mid West, and the East Coast. "A seasoned performer who knows how to sing,swing,rock and groove."

    Marianne Flemming's CD Venetian Dream has got a lot of depth and charm. Music well worth the closer listen and definitely refreshing to hear someone with such a unique style. Great lyrics too- funny and sad.
