Straight from the catwalks of New York City’s famed fashion week, these sexy tracks were written and performed by Flash for the fashion shows of designer Zang Toi. Each season, Zang Toi’s collection centered around a theme- from Americana to James Bond to Princess Diana. Flash interpreted these themes in the music and poetry of each song.
So imagine the lights dimming. A wall of photographers stand ready at the end of the runway which slices down the middle of the packed tent in Bryant Park. A glamour model enters the stage and press play.
FLASH:
New York artist, Flash, writes music for Broadway plays, TV, and films. He has produced tracks for numerous artists including Jennifer Holliday. He performs regularly around Manhattan and is known for his eclectic blend of acoustic and electronic sounds.
ZANG TOI:
Year in and year out, fans of Toi know they can count on the designer for one thing: pure, unadulterated glamour. That plus great, body-flattering silhouettes and beautiful tailoring. The Malaysian designer helps women young and old to feel like the only woman in the room with his dramatic, often finely embellished gowns, dresses and separates, as well as sophisticated but feminine suits. Lately, he’s been appealing to a much younger audience with his new diffusion line, Toi House, featuring playful mini-skirts, baby-doll dresses, and tight sweaters and shirts.

He’s a favorite with both older and younger glamour queens, including Ivana Trump, Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria, Debra Messing, Patti Labelle, Farrah Fawcett, Angela Bassett, and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas.

Electronic dance full of sunlight, lyrically hip, tight-fitting curves, and an earthy message combine to create a world of wearable music. If music were fashion, the designer would choose Flash for the sexy fabric! As the CD progresses, we find favorite vibes in the bongo baseline of "Look At Me" and "I Will Take You There". We are taken by this musician and his ability to capture a flowing brilliance of fabric, diamonds, and earth mist in "White" (A Tribute To Princess Diana). This CD serves as a perfect tool for refreshing relaxation.
