Fiona Joy Hawkins' piano has been described as 'music to dream to'and debuted at #1 on the New Age Reporter World Radio Charts for Nov 05 where it has had continued success as a top ranking album. Her CD was a finalist along with George Winston and David Nevue in the NAR Lifestyle Music Awards for Best Instrumental Piano Album (which she won in 2006 with Angel Above my Piano).

You can not listen to this music and not just feel the stress fall away. Take 2 songs and call me in the morning...

    What does Ms. Hawkins need do to separate herself from the plethora of very skilled pianists out there? She needs to continue doing what she already has done with this exceptional album. The key element is the very skillful blending of background orchestration with her presentation. This is always a difficult balance to achieve. The orchestration does not supplant nor interfere, but rather is there to augment the skills of this pianist extra ordinaire. Do your drums, (ear drums that is) a favor, and listen to this exceptionally well done album.
