Finless Brown is a six-piece live hip-hop band based in San Francisco, CA by way of Japan, Santa Cruz,
Oakland, San Francisco and Cleveland, OH, where the band spent the last 2 years performing before
relocating to California. The members of Finless Brown are from various musical backgrounds
including jazz, rock, classical, hip-hop, soul, and reggae. Finless Brown has found a unique way to call
upon these influences to formulate a fun and innovative sound. Fronted by the husband and wife duo
of Paulie Rhyme and bilingual singer/emcee Moto, Finless Brown promotes having a good time,
thinking a little, and stepping outside of the box when making music. In 2003, Finless Brown released
"The Browntown Ep", which received airplay not only stateside, but in France, Belgium, England, and
Japan. Their first full length cd, "Next Caper", which features production from 4th Disciple of Wu Tang
and Dj Lord Jazz of the Lords of the Underground, will be released on November 16th through
Browntown Wreckords (CA, OH, and select overseas markets intially with an international retail release
in February of 2005 ), followed by the 12" release of the songs,"Stand Up b/w Long Time Ago", on
NYC's Dank Funk Recordings.

Good CD
author: Ned FlandersI like this CD and it is very creative. I gotta say though, the girls voice on the album gets annoying after 3-4 songs. Love the beat though and there are a few songs where she doesn't sing. She has a very unique voice that is amazing but it sounds like she is trying too hard and wears on my ears after awhile.
