Field Day's debut CD of the same name is full of enough diversity in sound and lyric to keep even the most eclectic rockers happy... there is something for everyone here. Be sure not to miss 'Winds of Change' and 'The Chain' (personal favorites). What Curt Emich seems to do best is communicate a sense of hope in the midst of those situations in life that present themselves as hopeless: Your girl is gone, you lost your job, all seems lost, but Emich continually comes around to the fact that, though it may seem like time to give up: the strong DO survive, through sheer dint of will...And Boy are we glad to see the fruit of it here in this CD! Don't miss Field Day...It's well worth the time and the money!
