notes
Based in NYC, the band Fenix Down has been preparing to release this album for quite some time. After gathering their strength they are now putting all their efforts into getting their music everywhere possible. Fenix Down has a video game/heroic feel to many of its songs. With themes that relate to life now, they hit home with many of their songs.

Competely Delivers
author: Jason JohnsonI am a big fan of video games and I can feel the tones throughout every song. That being said this band can stand alone against some of the current popular artists. Everyone who hears this CD immediately wants to buy it.
Terribly Impressive!
author: The OdinI must say i was extremely impressed by this band. Who would ever think a band singing about video games would ever sound this good? This is truly an impressive band. I wish you the best of luck mates, wish to see you tour with the big guys soon!
Awesome CD
author: CameronThey do A Great job on all the music I just love it, Highly Recommended
I can't stop listening to it!
author: GeoffThis is an incredible debut effort. The heroic guitar riffs and powerful vocal themes... I just want to keep listening over and over. Admittedly you can sometimes tell from the recording quality that this is an indie effort, but does that matter, when the music is better than most of the big acts on the radio these days? I can't wait to see more from these guys.
Love this CD!!
author: SeanThis CD is amazing. It's about time something new came along, good job guys! and girls :) I heard them on internet radio and was hooked. Anyone reading this, i strongly advise to give these guys a listen!! cya Thanx
An impressive debut that makes me want more.
author: AlexThis debut album has to be one of the best I've heared, and indeed, as someone else here said, the previews do not do it justice, for one, the whole song 'The One' sounds much better than the small preview snippet I've heared around the internet. I also found some of the other tracks that I had not heard previews for realy good as well, such as 'Robotic Age' that starts with a rather grandios intro. All in all, this is a stellar performance, and I look forward to Fenix Down's next release.
Impressive debut album that pulls off it's claim
author: Stephen MeyerI was very pleased with Protected. The band claims to have a video game feel while still remaining original and definitely pull it off! I haven't heard many local bands this good in a while and look forward to their next CD. I hope they get a major label to back them and send them on tour.
Suprisingly Good
author: RevenA lot better than I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting much. I figured that the description of having a videogame feel was just being gimmicky to sell C.D.'s or cover for bad songs, but I took a shot, and have absolutly no regets. Take a shot on this, I think you'll be pleasently suprised.
Previews don't do it justice
author: TK TigerThe preview sound clips on CD Baby really do not do this album justice at all. The previews sound quite flat and dull. The actual CD is far better and is well worth trying out. I was a little unsure about buying this album, but I thought "what the hey?" and purchased it. I am now very glad I did! When's the next album coming?
Time Will Tell
author: Kingdevilhunterthis is an amazing debut CD, with one great song after another, time will tell if this band can catch the same 'wind of fame' as Dragonforce who went from "who cares" to "awesome". Good Luck guys! hoping to see you in the big league someday....SOOON!!!
good
author: Chris Burns (CB)Fenix down protected is a fine addition to anyone's music archive if they like anything Final Fantasy. Rock mixing with Videogames has made this a fine combination to listen to.
Definitely good
author: J.C.W.The CD is definitely a good purchase. There is a specific videogame feel to the album. The one and only flaw I can think of is that it seems the band was holding back a little, which isn't a big deal, honestly. They did have energy, and one can only hope they will reveal their full potential on the next album. I'll definitely be watching for it.
