Debra crafts each song so that it is rhythmically and technically interesting, exciting and pleasing to the ear.

  • Definately Funky and Bluesy ... Get out your dance shoes!

    Of all the Debra Farris Albums, this is by far the most funky and get down blues, makes me want to dance. There are a lot of nice groves like Take the Trade and Unraveled. There is also a slight jazz feel to the CD, not in the wondery kind of way, but there are some nice solos, especially the trumpet solo in Rose Colored Glasses.
